U.S. Club Pre-Academy

Potomac U.S. Soccer Development Academy is excited to be a member of the U-14 Northeast U.S. Academy League for the 2009-2010 season. The league is geared towards preparing teams for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy at the U-16 and U-18 age groups, and consists exclusively of clubs who are members of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

As a program overseen by the U.S. Soccer Federation, as well as U.S. Club Soccer, this program will also provide each player with unmatched exposure to the U.S. Soccer National Staff for consideration to be selected to our U.S. Youth National Teams.  Matches will be scouted by the U.S. Soccer Staff Coaches as well as U.S. Soccer scouts in an effort to provide feedback for the continuing development of our players. Each year, more and more players are given opportunities to continue with their soccer careers in college, as a direct result of their participation with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy program.

In addition, the Pre-Academy team will have an outstanding coaching staff, dedicated to the complete development of its players.  Through this challenging and competitive environment, the players will make tremendous strides in their game.  Through the combined mission of developing players and incorporating elite level competition, the Academy program is, and will continue to be, the premier competitive program for the best players in the United States.
