Potomac Lions U12 Division 1 NCSL team has openings for fast, athletic players born between 8/1/95- 7/31/96. Coach Brice will be assessing players during team tryouts Mondays and Wednesdays at Hadleys Park, 5:00-7:00. Potomac Cougars (rising) U14 Boys - will hold try outs on June 9th and June 11th from 5-7 at Falls Road Park (Hadley’s Park) in Potomac for all positions. Players must be born between Aug 1, 1994 - July 31, 1995.

Potomac Real, rising U15 Boys, seeks highly competitive, skilled and athletic players for 2008-09 league, tournament and State Cup play. One of the top teams in Region 1, Real has competed and won in tournaments at the highest level, including Bethesda Thanksgiving, Raleigh Shootout, Potomac Memorial Day, YMS Columbus Day, Jefferson Cup, etc. Real was semifinalist in the 2008 MD State Cup and finished 2nd in Region 1’s Colonial League for Spring 2008. Real is coached by Pete Mehlert, USSF “A” License, 20-year coach at American University, with over 30 years’ youth coaching experience.

Rising U-15 Potomac Sting: The Sting, presently in its second season as an NCSL Division 1 team, will participate in the NCSL this fall and is looking for a limited number of exceptional players (boys born between August 1, 1993 and July 31, 1994) to complement our existing squad. We will hold try-outs at regular practices for the remainder of the spring season. Practices are conducted at the Maryland Soccerplex from 6:00 to 7:30 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Only a limited number of practices remain before the end of our season on June 8, so the sooner you call the better.
POTOMAC COUGARS FC (U-17) - an NCSL travel team based in Montgomery County MD, will be holding open tryouts for dedicated and committed players who are looking to advance their soccer skills.
The cougars are professionally coached and trained by Brian Wall who has coached at the Division 1 collegiate level including positions at Mount Saint Mary’s University and currently at Hood College. In addition, Brian has worked with the Maryland Olympic Development Program and as the Boys Varsity Coach at Damascus High School. Brian currently holds various coaching badges, including a NSCAA National Coaching license. Along with his extensive coaching experience at various levels, Brian continues to design and implement player development programs for local youth soccer teams in the Baltimore / Washington Metro Region.
The Cougars FC are a member of the Potomac Soccer Association which is ranked as one of the 20 best clubs in the country. The team participates annually in the Potomac Memorial Tournament which is one of the top national tournaments and draws a significant number of college coaches seeking to recruit players for their schools. The Cougars FC offer a year round program including training sessions through out the summer, participation in futsol league and indoor soccer during the winter, the NCSL in the spring, and sits out the fall NCSL season so that players can concentrate on their high school seasons. During the spring, practices have traditionally been held twice a week on the Falls Road fields (intersection of I-270 and Falls Road).

Potomac Cougars U-19 will be playing in the Adidas Potomac Memorial Tournament and in the U-19 State Cup games in late May and early June, 2007. The team is not scheduling tryouts at this time.
