Registration will be held Friday, May 28, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM indoors at the MD SoccerPlex Discovery Sports Center.
All teams must register. All forms must be presented. All passes for players and guests must be presented AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.
Teams with Friday matches will have special registration access to register beginning at 3:45 PM.
NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULES MAY BE GRANTED UNDER OUR TOURNAMENT SANCTION.
Requirements:
1. Approved original 2009-2010 Roster and 2 copies. The copies will serve as your "tournament" roster. Please copy your original roster, lining out any players who will not attend the tournament. Add the names of any guests that you will have. Make copies of this roster to be presented as your tournament roster.
2. Current valid original 2009-2010 player passes for each player competing.
3. US Youth Soccer-rostered teams need State-approved Permission-to-Travel form for all teams outside of Region One. Region One teams do not require travel forms, with the exception of New Jersey. US Club Soccer teams do not require travel forms.
4. Medical release forms (original) for each player competing, including guests. Notarization not required.
5. Guest players (3 max.) - Each guest must have a 2009-2010 seasonal year valid, original player pass and a medical release form. There is no guest player form. A guest must have a player pass issued by the sanctioning body governing their team’s approved roster.
To be clear:
If you are using a US Club Soccer roster you may only use players (including guest players) who have a US Club Soccer player pass.
If you are using a US Youth Soccer roster you may only use players (including guest players) who have a US Youth Soccer player pass.
U9 (7v7), U10 (7v7), U11 (8v8), & U12 (8v8)
All teams within the above age groups may have a maximum of 14 players on their tournament roster including up to 3 guests. This is to be presented, verified and approved at registration All teams should make 2 copies of your original roster at home, and use a copy to create a "tournament" roster to include guest players written in and inactive players lined out.
U12 (11v11), U13-U15
All teams within the above age groups may have a maximum of 18 players on their tournament roster including up to 3 guests. This is to be presented, verified and approved at registration. All teams should make 2 copies of your original roster at home, and use a copy to create a "tournament" roster to include guest players written in and inactive players lined out.
U16, U17 & U19 age group roster modification
All teams within the above age groups indicated may have a maximum of 22 players on their tournament approved roster including up to a maximum of 3 guest players. Teams should make copies of your original roster at home, and use a copy to create a "tournament" roster to include guest players written in and inactive players lined out. At the time of registration the teams will present 6 COPIES of their "tournament" roster which will be verified and approved at registration. Prior to each match the team must provide to the field marshal their chosen 18-player roster for that particular match. Players not eligible should be crossed out. Non-roster players may not sit on the team bench. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a forfeit of the match.
Guest Players
Guest players (3 max.) must have a 2009-2010 seasonal year valid, original player pass and a medical release form. There is no guest player form. Make a copy of your roster. On the copy, line out any players not playing in the tournament. Write in the names of any guest players. Make the number of copies of this roster as indicated for your age group. Present this as your "tournament roster"
