Dates:      Friday, May 23, 2008 - Monday, May 26, 2008 

 

Location:    The Montgomery County, Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. 

 

Airports:     Our location can be easily accessed from either of 3 airports.  Baltimore-Washington

                 International (BWI), Washington Dulles (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA). 

 

Hotels:       Hotels must be reserved through the Montgomery County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB)

                 and information will be available on our web site.

 

Sanction:    This is US Club Soccer event.  All member USSF affilliates may participate. This event is open to all USYSA and US Club Soccer teams.

 

Ages:        There will be competitions for both boys and girls ages U9 - U19 in multiple flights where

              necessary.  Ages U9 & U10 will be 7v7, U11 (8v8), U12 will have both 8v8 and 11v11 competitions if sufficient teams apply. U13 – U19 is 11v11 

Entry Fee:  U-9 and U-10 $575
                  U-11 & U12 (8v8) $575
                  U-12 (11v11) $795
                  U-13 thru U-15 $795
                  U-16 thru U-19 $895*
                 *Performance bond of $300 due from U16,U-17 and U19 Boys and Girls teams. 

                   Performance bonds will be returned to teams after the completion of the tournament. 

Format:    Each team will be guaranteed 3 group games.  The group games will take place with 2 on

               Saturday and 1 on Sunday with semifinals on Sunday afternoon.  Finals will be held Monday AM.

               There will be some teams that will play Friday evening showcase matches.  If played will take the

               place of the Saturday morning group match. 

Venues:    The main venue will be the 22 field MD SoccerPlex in Germantown, MD. All U16 - U19 matches

                plus all semifinals and finals in all age groups played at 11v11 will be held at the MD SoccerPlex.

                We will also utilize 10 fields at the Potomac Polo Grounds in Poolesville, MD,  4 fields at

                Muldoons in Poolesville, MD and 4 fields at The Bullis School in Potomac, MD.
