Alan Lydiate, is currently the Director of Coaching for Brit-Am Soccer Academy, and club coach at Potomac Soccer Association. Alan holds a USSF B license, an English Football Association (Level 1& 2) certificate in coaching as well as a NSCAA Regional Goalkeeping Diploma.
Alan played for Blackpool Wren Rovers a semi-professional team in the north-west counties league in England till the age of 25yrs. As a school boy he attended the Bobby Charlton School of Excellence (Manchester United) and was picked to represent the school and England, in an international tournament held in Stoke-on-Trent England. After coaching children in England as a volunteer he decided to pursue it as a career and moved to the USA in 2003/2004. He is now the Brit-Am Soccer Academy Director of Coaching.
