Concussion Policy

Potomac Soccer takes the safety of all players seriously.   The following items are important resources for all players and parents regarding concussions. 

All players, families, coaches are highly encouraged to attend the concussion seminar

Online Course (Required for all parents) 

All parents must complete the CDC Online Course and sign and submit the Concussion Policy Confirmation Form to your team manager. This form must be submitted by a team representative to the Club at the Concussion Information Seminar to be held annually. All Potomac families are strongly encouraged to attend this seminar. 

Online Coaches Course

Children's National Medical Center SCORE Program

All players are strongly encouraged to have an ImPACT Baseline Test through Children's National Medical Center.

This testing protocol can help coaches, parents, and medical professionals to make more informed decisions when head injury may occur.  Coaches and parents can access the baseline scoring through recommended mobile app:  Sideline ImPACT
